Someone still likes books...

I ordered Memorias del subdesarrollo, the novel by Edmundo Desnoes from amazon.es this evening. I'm excited. The copy at Stony Brook's library falls apart in my hands: there hasn't been a new printing of the novel in many years available in the states. Amazon.com doesn't have the 2006 edition by Mono Azul Editora. All the second-hand copies were pricier than I was willing to go for. A thank you to amazon.es for using the same platform and sharing information with amazon.com. If multinational corporations are going to take over my life, the should remember my preferred address and billing information when I buy something between different country platforms.
