Home Decor, Flexible Workspace Edition

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of constructing a bean bag toss board. I was excited because I got to test the sewing machine that has been sitting in the hallway for year. It worked almost long enough to finish the project.

I spent some time practicing drawing the outline of the Borough of Brooklyn:

Another great thing about my room is that, since the bed folds up and I have almost everything off the floor, the room becomes a flexible work space: sewing machine and drawing materials on my desk, the floor covered with tubes of paint and paintbrushes, the sitting bench covered with sawdust, and what is the result? Check out the final bean bag toss product at Brigham's blog: "Best American Afternoon".
